ANONYMOUS. (Ak. Hist. Soc. Col.). Photograph Collection; n.d. .1 cu. ft.

This collection contains 129 black and white photograph contact prints which primarily depict scenes of interior Alaska (ca. 1900). Included are views of rivers, camps, cabins, dog sled teams, a town (St. Michael), and several steamboats (Aurora, Sunflower, Jennie M. and Research - ?). The pictures are numbered: 13-15, 17-19, 22-25, 27, 29-47, 47a, 48-53, 55, 56, 56a, 57, 60, 61, 63, 67-71, 77, 79, 80, 83-109, 132a, 133-146, 152-154, 157-160, 166, 170-181, 181 (2nd), 182, 183, 183a, 184-186, 188, 189, 191-194, 196, 197, 199-204, 225. The collection is accompanied by comments written by Robert DeArmond. The numbers on his list do not exactly coincide with all the photo numbers in the collection.

Deposited in the archives by the Alaska Historical Society in 1989.
