RUBY I. CASHEN. Papers; n.d., 1935-1937. .1 cu. ft.

The collection consists of an article and photographs relating to the Matanuska Colony. The article, by Mrs. Victor Johnson, comes from The American Magazine and is titled "I'm a Cream-Puff Pioneer." The sixteen black and white photographs and postcards depict houses, farms, tents, churches, the hospital, people, Palmer Day activities, and the Matanuska School.

This collection was presented to the archives by Ruby I. Cashen. A deed of gift was signed in 1994.
