Biographical note:
The serviceman who took these slides was a non-commissioned officer, probably by the last name of Farmer. He served with the 460th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing in Vietnam in 1966 to 1967. In 1974 he was a member of the 714th Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron at Cold Bay and Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska.
Collection description:
The collection contains 400 35mm color slides taken during tours of duty in Vietnam and Alaska. They include images of the bases, surrounding areas, and recreational activities.
Arrangement: The slides are in four chronological groups.
