The Eleventh Air Force Association was created to perpetuate the history of the 11th Air Force in World War II. According to by-laws, they take part in charitable, patriotic, educational, fraternal, recreational, and other non-profit activities. In addition, the Association also organizes reunions for its members and seeks permanent memorials to leave a legacy for future generations. In 1993 the Association added the "Americans Home From Siberia" group to its organization. Americans Home From Siberia is a group for American veterans who were held as prisoners of war in Siberia during World War II.
