Biographical note:
Walter D. Bradshaw was from Newton, Kansas. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army on the Aleutians islands of Umnak and Attu. His wife worked in a library during the war and compiled clippings of newspaper and magazine articles and photographs concerning the war in the Aleutians and Alaska. Walter Bradshaw, who owned a print shop, later sold copies of the resultant scrapbook.

Collection description:
The collection consists of a large format copy of a World War II era scrapbook of clippings concerning the war in the Aleutian Islands and Alaska. The scrapbook is 85 pages in length, and contains primarily black and white copies, along with a few color copies. All but a very few of the clippings in the scrapbook exclude the source and date of the article or photograph.

Arrangement: The collection is arranged in the order it arrived.
