Board members decided during our December 16th teleconference that PNC will not hire another group purchasing coordinator. Instead they will investigate a different model for assisting members to acquire electronic resources at reasonable prices. As a result, dues will no longer be collected for institutional memberships, since this money was used to fund that position. Members who have already renewed their institutional memberships for 2011, will be reassigned an individual membership and the overpayment will be refunded by a credit made to their card, or by check.
Renewing members paying by credit card, who held institutional memberships for 2010, are asked to login to RegOnliine and edit their membership record from Institutional to Individual and purchase an individual membership for 2011. Here is the Membership website link: http://www.regonline.com/Register/Checkin.aspx?EventID=668228. As noted, you should first check the Member List to find out the e-mail you need to access your institutional record, then click Already Joined? and login.
Renewing members wishing to pay by check, should simply fill out the registration form accessible from the same website . Select the individual membership, and enclose the form and your check for $25 before mailing to Judith Hayes at the address provided.

There is still time! The early bird renewal drawing will take place as planned on December 22nd after the 5 pm deadline. Checks must be received by our treasurer by December 22nd to be eligible for the drawing.
