Providing Access to Health Information

The Health Sciences Information Service (HSIS) is a unit of the Consortium Library at the University of Alaska Anchorage that provides fee-based medical library services throughout the state.  Our primary mission is to meet the information and continuing education needs of health care practitioners, researchers, educators, students, administrators, and the consumer health information needs of the general public through timely and convenient identification and delivery of health sciences information resources.  HSIS also serves the faculty, staff and students in the health sciences programs of the University of Alaska Anchorage.
