This item is a notarized agreement between John H. McWhirt and Henry L. Van Winkle.  The conveyance deeds a partial interest in the Little Pet Mine of the Cape Nome Mining District to Van Winkle in order for him to develop the mining claim.  The document was witnessed by Guy C. Calder and notarized by Francis Tagliabue.
